Who We Are

More Than Just Care.
We Are Family.

Founded in 1987 by Mrs. Sarah Hlezi and her friend Mrs Dorothy Zikalala, Sesho was born from a personal motivation: Mrs Hlezi's husband developed epilepsy due to an accident.

She organized meetings for epileptic and mentally challenged people in churches, community halls, and clinics until 1997, when the organization moved to Phenyo Primary School in Mapetla, Soweto.

Today, Sesho provides care for 41 beneficiaries aged 18-55 from different parts of Soweto. As an NPO relying solely on donations and sponsorship, we prepare our beneficiaries for the world, allowing them to discover talents and skills worth pursuing.

With your donation, we can create a learning environment where students can thrive and believe in a brighter future ahead.
